Distance Learning
Distance learning courses are designed for students who cannot or do not want to travel to the school. It offers the advantage of being able to connect to a course from anywhere in the world and with any device.
At Idealog, we offer three modalities of distance learning courses: Virtual classes with a remote teacher, Blended Learning (combination of online and in-person or virtual classes), and Virtual Campus (24 hours).
Distance Classes
Learn the language you want with our teachers through any electronic device. It is suitable for professionals or individuals who need to improve their communication skills in another language at any level.
For our distance classes, we use the Teams or Zoom platform.
Classes can be individual (with flexible scheduling) or in groups (with fixed schedules).
Students attending in-person classes can also connect online in case they cannot attend the class (hybrid classes).
Distance classes have the same characteristics and objectives as in-person classes. They follow the same pace and guidelines set by the CEFR.
Classes are designed according to the student’s needs.
Conversation Classes
(20-minute sessions)
These micro-classes allow you to refresh and practice the language or help you with specific topics according to your needs. They can be conducted through video calls or phone calls.
Choose your teacher and schedule, and before the class, specify the topic you will discuss. After each conversation, you will receive feedback on areas for improvement.
Objectives
- Gain fluency and speed in conversation
- Improve comprehension, oral expression, and pronunciation
- Gain confidence in answering or making a call in another language and overcome fear
Blended Learning
This involves combining two or more study modalities:
- Online course + Virtual classes
- Online course + In-person classes
- In-person classes + Virtual classes
- In-person classes + Virtual classes + Online course
Campus virtual
Our online course platform allows you to connect 24 hours a day, any day of the year, and with any device.
These courses are specially structured to develop students’ language competencies with a communicative and applied approach that prioritizes the functional aspects of the language. Students participate in contexts that recreate communication in real-life situations and naturally assimilate the knowledge and skills necessary to communicate in their personal and professional environment in the studied language.
The courses follow the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and international certification exams. It offers a linguistic immersion through natural and continuous progress: the courses, lessons, and objectives are prepared and presented in an intuitive manner. Progress through 100% of the curriculum without gaps. You can enroll in our online course with or without a tutor. The tutor is a teacher who motivates and advises you during your learning and can help you resolve specific doubts
