For over 30 years, we have been teaching languages to children aged 3 and above. We all know that children are like sponges, they retain and repeat with great ease, but we also understand that teaching a language to a child is different from teaching it to an adult.
We believe that motivation is the key to learning. That’s why our methodology focuses on the needs of students according to their age and emphasizes learning through action. In each class, our teachers, who specialize in teaching young learners, prepare lessons with a variety of activities that are playful, multisensory, intercultural, and interactive.
Consideramos que la motivación es la clave del aprendizaje, por esto, nuestra metodología se centra en las necesidades de los alumnos según su edad y en aprender a través de la acción. En cada clase nuestros profesores, especializados en el aprendizaje de los más pequeños, preparan sus clases con diversas actividades tanto lúdicas, plurisensoriales, interculturales e interactivas.
Methodology and Objectives
Ages 3-5:
At this age, children begin to socialize, ask many questions, express their emotions, and prepare themselves for entering school.
In our preschool classes, we respect the pace of each child and aim for them to enjoy the language, gain self-confidence, interact with their peers, laugh, develop their imagination surrounded by books, games, and nature.
Young children naturally learn to communicate in another language through games, readings, songs, role-playing, workshops, our mascots, and lots of fun!
Ages 6-14:
In our classes for children, we use a combination of methodologies that are respectful of the children’s abilities and strive to provide a meaningful context for real communication. We employ a natural approach, where the first phase involves comprehension through drawings, images, or real objects. The second phase consists of oral production with meaningful questions from the teacher, and in the third phase, speech emerges. The difficulty of the activities increases as the children’s physical and reasoning skills advance.
Throughout their learning journey, children enhance their language skills, especially in comprehension and reading. We encourage autonomy in their work and motivate them to participate with their peers and teachers.
We utilize and provide all the tools that aid their development inside and outside the classroom: games, projects, vocabulary and grammar sheets, online resources, and more.
